Responding to Imran Khan’s criticism of his remarks on Muslims, Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy reminded Pakistan Prime Minister that Hindus and Sikhs were being denied food in his country, adding the treatment is one step away from “genocide”.
Swami also took a jibe at Imran by saying that he was not assigned any work by the Pak military and ISI except badmouthing India.
Earlier in the day, Imran Khan had tweeted the teaser video of Subramanian Swamy’s interview to a news portal in which Swamy said that people of India liked the Narendra Modi government’s hardline approach to solving problems.

Justifying the enactment of the CAA, Swami says in the video, “This was a commitment we had made over several years, over several governments. We have completed the job. We know where the Muslim population is large. There’s always trouble. Because Islamic ideology says so.”
“If Muslims become more than 30%, that country is in danger,” he added.
When the anchor asked whether it was not “hatred” for Muslims, Swamy tersely replied, “Easy to say hatred. I’m being kind to them by not letting them come to India.”
Responding to a question on Article 14 of the Indian Constitution that the anchor said “talks about equality for all persons living in India”, swami replied,” I can tell you this is “misinterpretation” of Article 14. Article 14 guarantees equality of equals”.
His answer prompted the anchor to ask whether Muslims deserved equal rights, to which Swamy replied, “There is no such thing as equal rights. They are not in equal category.”
Tweeting the video of the interview, Imran Khan had remarked, “The RSS inspired BJP leadership in the 21st century openly speaking about the 200 million Muslims just as the Nazis spoke about the Jews.”

Swamy responded to Imran’s tweet in his own style and said, “He obviously has no work assigned to him as PM by the Pak military and ISI except to bad mouth India. The treatment of Hindus and Sikhs today in Pakistan especially denying them food is one step away from genocide.”
